Using Mitchell 1, ProDemand, ALLDATA, or Identifix? Keep them. BK Garage Pro is the shop workflow layer around those repair-data tools, not a replacement for licensed repair information.

Migration Disclaimer Migration results vary by source system, data age, and export quality. We make every effort to bring over your meaningful records accurately, but we cannot guarantee a perfect 1-to-1 transfer of all data. Some records may be incomplete, formatted differently, or omitted if they cannot be reliably interpreted from the source file. BK Garage Pro is not liable for any data that does not migrate, migrates incorrectly, or is unavailable in the source export. We strongly recommend reviewing your data after migration and retaining access to your previous system until you have verified the import to your satisfaction.
The Process

Tell us where you’re coming from
During your demo or onboarding call, let us know which system you’re currently on. We’ll send you platform-specific export instructions that take about 10 minutes to follow.

Export your data
You run a backup or export from your current system and send it to us via a secure upload link. Most exports are a single file. We’ll walk you through it if you need help.

We process the migration
Our team maps your data into BK Garage Pro — cleaning duplicates, normalizing records, and verifying everything came through correctly. Typically completed within 2–5 business days depending on volume.

You verify before going live
We’ll share a summary: how many customers, vehicles, and repair orders were imported. Spot-check a handful of records. If anything looks off, we fix it before you go live.

Log in with your history ready
Your first day in BK Garage Pro, your customers are already there. Search a name and pull up their vehicle history like they’ve been in the system for years. Because now they have been.

We walk through your workflow live. No script, no pressure. You ask the hard questions.
Day 1–2
Account Setup
Subscribe, create your account, send us your data export. We get the migration started.
Day 2–7
Migration
We process your data, clean it up, and load it. You verify before anything goes live.
Day 7+
Go Live
Your history is in, your team is set up. Write your first work order with 6 years of customer data already there.

Shops with larger data sets may take up to 10 business days. We’ll give you a realistic timeline after reviewing your export.
